• HDR Photo ~ This is a re-visit to one of my earlier HDR attempts and redoing it with some new skills I’ve picked up along the way. Here is the original Soviet Era Hydrofoil. Seen in Chernigov, Ukraine. When my wife first saw this parked in Chernigov, she recognized what it was right [...] Had a photo to painting marathon Saturday over on Google Plus, so I spent a few hours on Saturday turning photos into paintings! No, it’s not what it looks like, although I’m not exactly sure what this sculpture represents. Opportunities for shots like this don’t come along often, at least not where I am, but when they do come along, you can often get a number of shots like this within 10-20 minutes. From a autumn trip to Uman, Ukraine, a few years back. We had a real autumn this year, with colors! Not unlike most years. Seen at Park Kievan Rus, south of Kiev. Seen at the Kiev Sea/Reservoir north of Kiev, early October 2011. |
